CJC-1295: Product & Research Information

Overview

CJC-1295 is a synthetic peptide analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), a signaling molecule involved in regulating growth hormone secretion by the pituitary gland. It has been investigated for its effects on the growth hormone (GH) and insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) pathways.

CJC-1295 has attracted scientific interest because of its interaction with these hormonal signaling pathways. However, research findings should not be interpreted as proof of benefits for bodybuilding, fat loss, athletic performance, recovery, or anti-aging.

Understanding CJC-1295

GHRH participates in the body’s regulation of growth hormone release. Published human research on CJC-1295 has examined changes in circulating GH and IGF-1 levels. These are biochemical findings, not evidence that the peptide safely or reliably produces specific cosmetic, performance, or long-term health outcomes.

CJC-1295 DAC and CJC-1295 No DAC

The terms CJC-1295 DAC and CJC-1295 No DAC are used to describe different peptide formulations or variants in the marketplace. DAC refers to a drug-affinity complex modification associated with prolonged activity.

These names should not be used interchangeably. The precise identity, composition, and documentation of a product should be verified from its product-specific specifications and supporting records. Evidence concerning one variant should not automatically be applied to another.

Research Context

Published clinical studies have examined CJC-1295 in healthy adult volunteers, including its effects on GH and IGF-1 concentrations. The available evidence remains limited, and these studies do not establish that CJC-1295 is an approved or proven treatment for growth hormone deficiency, obesity, muscle development, injury recovery, or age-related changes.

CJC-1295 is not an FDA-approved medicine. Regulatory status and permitted uses vary by jurisdiction, and research supply should not be represented as an approved prescription treatment.

Quality and Product Documentation

Responsible peptide evaluation begins with accurate product identification and transparent documentation. Depending on the supplier and product, relevant records may include:

Product identity and stated composition
Batch or lot identification
Analytical testing documentation, where available
Purity and impurity information supported by appropriate methods
Storage and handling information supplied by the manufacturer
Applicable research-use and regulatory disclosures

Documentation should be specific to the actual product and batch. A general certificate or an unsupported purity statement should not be presented as proof of a particular vial’s identity, quality, sterility, or suitability for human use.

Important Safety Information

CJC-1295 can affect the GH/IGF-1 signaling pathway, and its safety profile is not fully established. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has identified concerns regarding compounded CJC-1295, including potential immunogenicity, peptide-related impurities, and reports of increased heart rate and systemic vasodilatory reactions.

It should not be assumed to be safe because it is described as a peptide or is offered online. This product information is educational and does not replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional. It does not provide instructions for dosing, reconstitution, injection, or self-treatment.

Peptika Product Information
